AMERICA'S LEADING CLIMBING CENTER
Gravity won't be just any climbing gym, but a state of the art facility accessible to world class athletes and newcomers alike.
We designed the gym with three criteria in mind: Gravity has to be an inviting space, it has to meet the needs of new and seasoned climbers alike, and it has to effectively host competitions of any level, local to global. Every detail was carefully considered, like our strategic space utilization, four speed lanes, and 30 meter sport wall. Our love for natural climbing also inspired us to include outdoor walls, making it easier to transition from artificial to natural climbing.
Many of us enter the climbing world later on in our lives, our prior sports experiences informing our individual style and strengths. To foster that individuality, we will compliment our climbing with amenities such as a full gym, yoga studio, and recovery equipment. These and more will create a complete experience for every guest , no matter their background.
Climbing gyms become second homes to climbers, and we want to make sure that guests will find everything they need at Gravity. Lounges, food and beverages, and an open design will do just that, inspiring folks to visit for more than just the climbing.
LEVELING THE FIELD
Gravity will be more than just a gym, but also a cultural and social center for climbers and athletes. Our gym will be a space visited by thousands of people every week, giving us a platform to promote the plethora of small businesses and artists around our city.
Austin is crowned the "Live Music Capital of the World", and for good reason. Musical legends like Willie Nelson and Gary Clark Jr. hail from our city, and there are many more legends still waiting to be made here. Local musician spotlights will showcase Austin's best performers, while local artist spotlights will do the same for the best visual artists you haven't heard of yet.
Austin loves its food just as much as it loves its climbing. The ideas for Gravity were created in local coffee shops and finished in food spots found nowhere else in the world. We want to help guests find their next favorite food spots around town, and we want Austin's visitors to go home raving about the best meals they've ever had. Partnerships with restaurants to serve their signatures and "best of the month" spotlights will help do just that.
